Zantedeschia aethiopica comes originally from Africa. It is a member of the aroid family. It grows in marshy areas where its stalks/stems can reach a length of 150 centimetres.
Zantedeschia aethiopica like to be planted in moisture retaining soil. The ideal location would be a sunny spot or one in partial shade. It needs plenty of water. In winter, Zantedeschia aethiopica will survive the cold under a light covering of straw or leaves.
