Dionaea muscipula 'Snowman' - CarniVFT65
Dionaea muscipula 'Snowman' - CarniVFT65
Dionaea muscipula 'Snowman' looks great at any time of year, but it really comes into its own in winter. That’s because unlike other Venus flytraps, it is a brilliant white, the colour of snow and ice. But don’t be misled by its “wintry” appearance. Like many other plants, this Venus flytrap cultivar needs a winter sleep when it becomes dormant.

Dionaea muscipula 'Snowman' has the familiar leaf traps with which it catches insects and arachnids at lightning speed. Once the trap snaps shut, it is virtually impossible for the prey to escape. The fork-shaped teeth mesh together only releasing their grip once the prey has been digested.
Dionaea muscipula 'Snowman' likes to be kept wet, preferably in direct sunlight, and should therefore be water constantly with rainwater, osmosis water, boiled water or demineralised water.. Venus flytraps do not need plant food as they obtain nutrients from the insects they catch. During its dormant period or “winter sleep” they requires less water
