Dionaea muscipula 'Cup trap' - CarniVFT21
Dionaea muscipula 'Cup trap' - CarniVFT21
The Dionaea muscipula ‘Cup trap’ is a unique Venus fly-trap mutant, because the extremities of its traps taper into a sort of bowl thereby catching many insects. The Dionaea muscipula ‘Cup trap’ is very similar to the Dionaea muscipula ‘Kinchyaku’, which means purse or moneybag in Japanese. Moreover the stalks are unusually wide and provide a sturdy support for the unique traps of this carnivorous plant.
