The Drosera binata originates from Australia. It uncoils its leaves like a fern. The leaves can divide two or more times, depending on the variant.
The Drosera binata thrives best in a fluffy mixture of peat and perlite, and is preferably kept constantly wet. This carnivorous plant can be grown in a terrarium, but also thrives outside. If kept outside it will die off above the ground during wintertime, and bud again in spring.
