Impatiens repens is a pretty kind of impatiens with red stalks and small round leaves, which blooms with canary yellow flowers. It can be kept as a hanging plant. In summer the plant can live outside and the impatiens repens is also suitable as a terrarium flower.

Impatiens repens originates in Sri Lanka 'Former Ceylon' and is also known as Ceylon impatiens. It is assumed that the flower is no longer found in the wild.
The impatiens repens can be kept indoors or as a pot plant. Don'T place the plant in full sun, but give it a spot in the full or partial shade. The plant can not survive at temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius. Make sure it has plenty moist soil.
