Hoya carnosa is indigenous to parts of East Asia and Australia. The plant has been in culture for more than 200 years due to its beautiful waxy leaf, the wonderful flowers and the presence of their pleasing smell. The flowers become fragrant at night.
The Hoya carnosa can be kept as a house plant, preferably in a bright spot. The vines can grow very long, but are easily guided. Don't remove the stalk on which the flowers grew; new flowers will grow on it.
