The leaves of Cyclanthus bipartitus is what makes this plant fascinating. Growing up to a meter in length, the stalked leaves are bifurcated making the leaves look like rabbit ears. The deep green leaves have parallel venation with a pronounced central vein. In good condition could this plant, that grows up to three meters in the wild, produces flowers. From the base of the plant a stalked inflorescence arises, enclosed with a faint yellow bract. Flowers form a ringed pyramid like structure and produce a scent comparable to cinnamon and vanilla.
