Plant care and tips for the Collector Box 'Utricularia' 'Bladderworts' 'Mix 2x' contains two different species of Utricularia, also known as bladderworts. These fascinating carnivorous plants thrive in moist, acidic soils and prefer bright, indirect light. They can tolerate some direct sunlight, but care should be taken not to expose them to intense midday sun. Utricularia species need constant moisture, and their roots should never be allowed to dry out, so watering with distilled or rainwater is essential. These plants placed them in a shallow container with no standing water can help replicate their natural growing conditions. During their growing season, they catch small aquatic organisms in their specialized bladders. Utricularia does not need additional feeding if grown in suitable conditions, but occasional feeding may be helpful if kept indoors. Keep them in a warm environment, ideally between 20°C and 30°C (68°F–86°F). For optimal health, ensure high humidity and good air circulation. See also Araflora plantcare symbols
