Plant care and tips for the Collector Box 'Darlingtonia californica' 'Cobra Lily' 'Mix 2x' includes two varieties of the unique Cobra Lily. These plants thrive in cool, moist environments, preferring bright, indirect light and temperatures between 15°C and 25°C (59°F–77°F). High humidity is essential, and the plant benefits from nighttime temperatures around 5°C–10°C (41°F–50°F). Use acidic, well-draining soil, such as a mix of sphagnum moss and perlite, and ensure the soil stays moist but not waterlogged. Water with distilled or rainwater to avoid harmful minerals from tap water. The Cobra Lily catches insects in its unique pitcher traps for nutrients, though occasional feeding may be needed indoors. Prune dead traps regularly and ensure good air circulation to prevent rot. This mix is ideal for collectors or anyone new to growing carnivorous plants.
