Vriesea sanguinolenta prefers a spot with lots of light, but not in direct sunlight. Make sure the plant'S soil is always a little moist. Every now and then, pour some water at room temperature in the tube formed by the leaves in the middle of the plant. This is also a place where the plant absorbs water. Mist the Vriesea plants from time to time to increase the humidity. The ambient temperature for this exotic plant must remain between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. The soil for Vriesea sanguinolenta must have good water retention, but doesn'T have to contain much plant food. During the growth period it is advised to give this Araflora plant some bromeliad plant nutrition.
