Utricularia humboldtii can also be found in South America, where it makes its home in the nodes of bromeliads.

The tropical natural habitat of the two original species result in this hybrid needing a humid environment around 28⁰C. You can keep it in a terrarium or on a warm and humid spot on the windowsill.
