Begonia conchifolia var. rubrimacula is a unique Begonia with striking leaves and flowers. Aside from its notable leaf it also has fragrant white-pink flowers from winter to spring. The leaf is round with a red spot in the center. The plant is also suitable for a terrarium.

Begonia conchifolia var. rubrimacula originates in Middle America. In Latin 'Rubrimacula' means 'Red spot' '‘conchifolia’ can be explained by ‘konche’ 'Greek' crustacean and ‘folia’ 'Latin' ‘leaf’'. In English it is also known as Bull'S Eye Begonia. It is a rhizome-forming Begonia.
Water the Begonia conchifolia var., but be sure to let the soil dry between watering sessions. Use lukewarm water. The plant prefers a spot in partial shade.
