Begonia conchifolia var. rubrimacula originates in Middle America. In Latin 'Rubrimacula' means 'Red spot' '‘conchifolia’ can be explained by ‘konche’ 'Greek' crustacean and ‘folia’ 'Latin' ‘leaf’'. In English it is also known as Bull'S Eye Begonia. It is a rhizome-forming Begonia.
Water the Begonia conchifolia var., but be sure to let the soil dry between watering sessions. Use lukewarm water. The plant prefers a spot in partial shade.
