Begonia brevirimosa subsp. Exotica 'Syn. Begonia Edinburgh' is a spectacular Begonia with a bushy growth and large leaves. The oblong leaves are dark green with wide stripes of metallic pink. An easy plant for either house or terrarium.

In nature Begonia brevirimosa is found in and around Indonesia.
Begonia brevirimosa can easily be pruned to retain its small size. It is a bushy species which can also be allowed to grow large or along a stick. In a terrarium it is advisable to place the plant in shade or under a fluorescent lamp. In general a high humidity is recommended. Minimal temperature of approximately 10 degrees Celsius, maximal temperature of around 35 degrees Celsius. Keep its soil slightly moist.
