The small round leaves are an eye catcher This tropical houseplant is not hard to care for, as long as its temperature is kept above 10 degrees Celsius. The plant also continuously produces new shiny bright green leaves. The Dischidia nummularia is also a suitable tropical terrarium plant, as long as its roots are kept out of stagnant water.

Place Dischidia nummularia in a bright spot, out of direct sunlight. Don'T give it too much water near its roots, as stagnant water can cause the roots to rot. Drying out isn'T really a problem for Dischidia nummularia. It is also advised to water the plant by raising the humidity, for example by misting it with water from a plant sprayer. Make sure the ambient temperature is constant and not below 15 degrees Celsius. Drafts or rapid changes in temperature should be avoided. Regular potting soil is good enough for Dischidia nummularia.
