The Arthurium decipiens is originally from the Colombian Andes. The Anthurium is part of the Aroid-family and this plant was called Anthurium salgarense up until 2019. The dark green leaves have a glossy look and a very nice texture. In some time, you can also expect this plant to grow some beautiful flowers. Since the leaves can grow up to 2 meters long, this plant is a true must have for any plantlover!
Even though the Anthurium decipiens is quite big, it’s an easy plant to take care of. The plant thrives best in indirect sunlight. It’s important to keep the soil most but be careful not to overwater it. This can cause the root to rot. Give it some plant nutrition once a month and your Anthurium will be perfectly happy!
