The Alocasia x Low Rider is a cultivar and is also known as the dwarf version of the Alocasia portara. The plant has beautiful, luscious leaves with ribbed edges and evident veins. The plant has striking, sturdy petioles that have a green brownish color. This plant will be a beautiful addition for your living room!
The Alocasia x Low Rider is a low maintenance plant. The plant thrives in bright, indirect sunlight, but don’t worry if it catches some direct sunlight every now and then. Keep the soil moist, but make sure not to overwater it. Make sure the first few centimeters of the soil feel dry before watering the plant again. To stay on top of the humidity, be sure to mist the plant with a plant spray every once in a while. In the summer, you can definitely keep this plant outside as long as the temperature doesn’t drop below 15 degrees Celsius.
