Alocasia portodora prefers a relatively light place, but no direct sunlight should fall on the leaves. The optimal temperature for this Alocasia is around room temperature. During the summer months it is also possible to place the plant outside, as long as the temperature does not fall below 10⁰C. Keep the humidity slightly higher to form healthy leaves. Keep the plant away from the heating. You can put the pot on a dish with stones. You can use ordinary plant soil to pot Alocasia portodora. Allow the top 2cm of the earth to dry out before watering again.
