Plant information: Alocasia brancifolia

Alocasia brancifolia’s dominant feature are the leaves. The bright green leaves grow to a length of 60 centimeters when mature, have a bright green color and are arrow shaped. Different compared to other species of this genus is that the leaves are heavily dissected. This makes the appearance similar to a broad fern shaped leaf. Leaflets are guided by a prominent green vein. All leaves from this plant arise from a terrestrial rosette and have a plain green petiole. In some cases, the plant could produce a plain inflorescence from the base like other species within this genus. Propagation is mostly done by shoots or seeds.
