The Dionaea muscipula ‘Short teeth’ has- as the name already suggests- short, pointed teeth. In sufficient direct sunlight the traps develop a red inside and will grow to their maximum size. As with the other Venus fly-traps the Dionaea muscipula ‘Short teeth’ needs to rest in winter , so growth can start again at the beginning of spring: don’t worry when leaves and traps die off in the winter!
