Dionaea muscipula 'Red' 'Starter' likes wet conditions and direct sunlight. It can be cultivated indoors as a houseplant or grown outside, provided it has plenty of light. The growing medium should be kept wet by watering it with rainwater, osmosis water, distilled water, boiled water or demineralised water.
