Dionaea muscipula 'No dentist' is a unique and easily recognisable variety from the range of Venus flytraps available from Araflora. Venus flytraps originally come from North America. Over the years, they have been successfully propagated and cultivated in different ways. They catch their prey in toothed leaves that snap shut when triggered by prey touching the tiny hairs on the inner leaf surfaces. Once caught, the prey is digested
Venus flytraps need a constantly wet growing medium and a great deal of sunlight. Dionaea muscipula 'No dentist' does not requite additional plant food. Its prey is attracted initially by the fragrance and colour of the plant. When they touch one of the trigger hairs, the trap snaps shut in next to no time and the prey’s fate is sealed.
