Dionaea muscipula 'Booby trap' - CarniVFT13
The Dionaea muscipula ‘Booby trap’ owes its special name to its resemblance to bear-traps. These traps have slightly curved teeth which make it even more difficult for the lured insects to escape. The Dionaea muscipula ‘Booby trap’ has its traps placed directly next to one another in the shape of a rosette. Within the traps of this Venus fly-trap a deep-red colour is visible which may continue up to and including the teeth.
