The Dionaea mucipula ‘Beauty star’ is a Venus fly-trap with traps displaying impressive and beautiful red interiors. As it happens its colour changes to a deeper red towards the heart of the trap. The teeth can also develop a red colour and are sharply pointed and long. In order to be able to develop these red colours the Dionaea mucipula ‘Beauty star’ needs to be in a light spot and to be constantly watered.
