Drosera slackii is a sundew named after carnivorous plant cultivation expert Adrian Slack, endemic to South Africa. Drosera slackii 'Narrow leaf' can be recognized by its characterizing bright red hairs at the centre of the trapping leaves. The sundew can be placed on a windowsill or in a terrarium.

Drosera slackii is a very well known sundew endemic to South Africa. It was named after Adrian Slack, a pioneer when it comes to the cultivation of carnivorous plants. It is characterized by brightly colored red hairs on the rosette of trapping leaves. Flattened leafstalks that end in wide, rounded trapping surfaces grow from the centre of the rosette. The leaves of Drosera slackii can be large and brightly colored when circumstances are favorable. When temperatures rise to high the sundew fails to thrive and the sundew will pale to a yellowish white.
Drosera slackii is best cultivated in a mixture of peat, perlite and sand. Drosera slackii likes warmth and humidity so it can be placed on a sunny windowsill or in a terrarium with artificial lighting.
