The Drosera broominensis starter is a carnivorous plant from the sundew family. It has an abnormal shape: at the end of green, hairy peduncles, it grows orange-red coloured, circular trap leaves. The flowers are white in colour.

This Drosera is only seen in Western Australia and belongs to the so-called petiolaris Complex. Drosera's from the Petiolari Complex are called ‘woolly Drosera,' named by their distinctive dense pubescence.
he Drosera broomensis is, like other Drosera’s from the Drosera petiolaris complex, kept best in a peat-silica sand mixture. This Drosera thrives in a hot and humid terrarium.
