Scindapsus pictus 'Silver Hero', also known as ‘Satin pothos’ or ‘Silver vine’, is true to its name. Its unique silver leaves look like silk. An additional recommendation for any plant enthusiast, experienced or otherwise, is that it is easy to care for as a potted houseplant, in a terrarium or a vivarium as somewhere for poison dart frogs to spawn or sing.

Scindapsus pictus 'Silver Hero' is endemic to the tropical rain forests of South-East Asia. It climbs the trunks of trees using its air roots.
Scindapsus pictus 'Silver Hero' does well under any conditions, but it really takes off if there in a higher than normal level of humidity. As a houseplant, it can be grown in a moderate light position. Allow the potting mix to dry out before giving the plant more water. In a terrarium or vivarium, Scindapsus pictus 'Silver Hero' will respond well to bright or less bright light. It doesn’t need good air circulation but it does need well-drained soil.
