The Scindapsus pictus is a good and fast grower which, when exposed to high temperatures and lots of light, will soon grow out of a terrarium. To prevent this it is best to prune it monthly or place it in a less well-lit spot. When pruning it is advised to remove the longest and oldest parts of the plant wholly.
