It’s better not to put the ‘Green Violin’ in direct sunlight because it may cause the leaves to get a slightly bleached look. The best method to check if the plant needs water is to check if the first few centimeters of the soil feel dry. This will probably amount in the ‘Green Violin’ needing water around once a week. In colder months once every two weeks will be enough. It wouldn’t hurt to sprinkle some water on its leaves a few times a week to stay on top of the humidity your Philodendron needs.
