Philodendron billietiae has dark and semi-glossy arrow-shaped leaves. Its impressive narrow blades can be as long as 90 cm. This is a “hip” tropical plant that would look great displayed on a vintage piece of furniture or in the right location in a greenhouse.

Philodendron billietiae comes originally from the tropical regions of French Guiana and the Amazon basin.
Philodendron billietiae is easy to care for. It enjoys plenty of light, partly sunlight and partly indirect light. Give it water when the top layer of the potting mix dries out. On the other hand do not worry if you forget to water it. The plant is remarkably resilient. However, it does need some kind of support that it can use to grow as a climber.
