Peperomia pecuniifolia is originally found in western Guatamala. In this area, this plant grows in semi-moist and moist forests. Its thick leaves make it resistant against dry spells, as the leaves can store moisture. Peperomia pecuniifolia can be kept in terrariums with, for example, poison dart frogs and medium-large lizards.
Peperomia pecuniifolia requires a bright spot. We recommend spraying it a few times a week (with osmosis water, for example). If Peperomia pecuniifolia receives sufficient warmth, light and moisture, it will grow quickly. Preferably this plant is placed on an epiphyte branch or a (moisture retaining) backwall of the terrarium. Make sure the roots are always moist. This plant is simple to prune. Extra fertilization is not directly required.
