Originally Peperomia emarginella grows on tree trunks in (semi) shade. The distribution area of this miniature plant reaches from Florida (United States) to Northern Bolivia. Because Peperomia emarginalla is so small (the round leaf is only a few millimeters wide), it requires little space and can fill empty spots in the terrarium or paludarium.
This Peperomia emarginella requires a somewhat sheltered and warm spot. Daily misting with soft water (like osmosis water) is recommended. Extra fertilization is not immediately required. Ensure the roots are moist, but never in still water. Place moss around this plant to maintain high humidity. Daily watering is advised. This plant is not a swift grower, so regular pruning is not necessary.
