Pachypodium succulentum 'Starter' - SuCa186a
Pachypodium succulentum is a slow growing, drought-loving plant that is appreciated for its unusual appearance. The flowers are also beautiful, but unfortunately the plant does not bloom often as a houseplant. During drought and high temperatures the plant drops the leaves and has a strangely shaped trunk that resembles a starting termite mound. New shoots have fresh green leaves

Pachypodium succulentum is an ideal plant for a dry, sunny and warm place in the house. In summer it is excellent in a conservatory, but it is also completely at home in a greenhouse with succulents. Water sparingly in summer; the soil should only be moderately moist. Keep dry in winter and ensure a dry light environment with a temperature above 5 degrees.
