The natural habitat of the Promenea mini-orchid lies in Mid-America, where it grows mainly in the mountains on trees and bushes. The Promenea Sunlight is a variant created specially by crossing two types of wild orchids. In so doing the flowers have become particularly beautiful and the plant stronger. It flowers from April to July with yellow flowers. Indoors this orchid has under the right circumstances no problem coming into flower.

Promenea Sunlight orchids are best cultivated at temperatures from10˚ to 25˚ Celsius [ 50˚ to 77˚ F ]. Place them in a light area indoors but not in bright sunlight. When in summer the orchid is in flower add a little fertilizer. The Promenea Sunlight needs to be kept moist but cannot stand having ‘wet feet’. Take care that after watering any remaining water is absorbed before you water the plant again.
