Goodyera pusilla is a species which has become increasingly popular in terrarium due to its distinctive leaves; they are called jewel orchids with good reason! Other kinds of jewel orchid which are suitable for a terrarium are Macodes petola and Ludisia discolor.

On moist spots in soil of turf they can even survive with little light. Araflora keeps these delightful Goodyera pusilla plants at 25-35 cm from the lamps. The leaves like high humidity and the roots can be kept wet, as long as the water isn'T stagnant.
