The Haemanthus albiflos, or Powder brush, is a bulbous plant which has a white flower with a large number of yellow stamens 'Which together resemble a brush'. The Haemanthus albiflos is related to the Amaryllis.

When fertilized orange berries appear after a while. The Haemanthus albiflos' bulb protudes above the ground a little and is light green of color. The flower stalk grows from the bulb between two large, fleshy leaves. The species name 'Haemanthus' comes from the Greek word for 'Blood flower', while 'Albiflos' is from Latin and means 'White flower'.
The Haemanthus albiflos is suitable for indoors. During its resting period the bulb must be kept dry, when it starts growing it must be watered. Don'T put the plant in full sun, keep it in partial shade.
