The Cordyline fruticosa ‘Mambo’ is a nice indoor plant which is originally from Australia and New-Zealand. The shiny, maroon leaves come together at the stem of the plant. The leaves form in a similar manner as the Dracaena (as they are members of the same family). The plant is also called Good Luck Plant.
This plant thrives in bright but indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight can cause damage to the leaves of the plant. Make sure to keep the soil of the plant moist. Don’t panic if the bottom leaves of the plant fall off. The plant does this to encourage new growth as the plant gets older. The best temperature for this plant lies somewhere between 18 and 27 degrees Celsius.
