The Cissus The amazonica is a beautiful climbing plant that can grow quickly when the environment is moist enough. The spear-shaped leaves are dark green with light gray veins. The underside of the leaf is a beautiful dark red. The plant is a natural climber but can also be kept as a hanging plant. The Cissus amazonica is an exotic vine-like plant that stands out for its dark green, elongated leaves with deep purple undersides. The leaves have a slightly glossy, firm texture and grow in a dense, bushy shape. Thanks to its creeping and climbing habit, the Cissus amazonica is ideal for hanging baskets, plant stands, or terrariums, where it adds a tropical accent and elegantly frames other plants. Although it is often compared to the Rex Begonia ( Cissus discolor ), this species is distinguished by its larger, less marked leaves and a more robust, upright growth.The Cissus amazonica is native to the Amazon region of South America, where it grows in moist, shady forests. The Cissus Amazonica thrives best in partial shade. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Keep the plant indoors where the temperature is at least 10 degrees Celsius and no higher than 35 degrees Celsius. In cultivation, this plant is particularly suitable as a houseplant or terrarium climber. It grows relatively quickly in warm, humid conditions and can reach several meters tall with the right support . Its deep colors create a beautiful contrast with lighter or more colorful houseplants. Caring for the Cissus amazonica is easy to care for provided the right basic conditions are provided:
