Despite its size, this species is a striking plant thanks to its many purple flowers. The look of the flower of Utricularia parthenopipes similar to mino orchid flowers and grow from green stems. The upper petal is purple with a white lip and a yellow spot below it. The narrow leaves, hiding the traps, look like grass. Utricularia parthenopipes is an annual plant.
