Bladderwort alpina x endressii (Utricularia alpina x endressii) is a hybrid of Utricularia alpina, found in the northern part of South America and on the Antilles and Utricularia endressii, found in Panama. The first of these has white flowers and a second one purple ones. This results in a hybrid with striking white flowers with a purple glare. The flowers are not only similar to those of an orchid. They also resemble a snapdragon. Utricularia alpina x endressii grows upon trees and other plants and can reach around 25 centimetre. The elongated leaves are especially large in this species. This species is perennial, so you can enjoy this exceptional carnivore for a long time.
Bladderwort alpina x endressii (Utricularia alpina x endressii) is relatively easy to care for and does not require insects to survive. The tropical origins of its two parent species mean that this plant thrives in a warm and humid environment, ideally around 28°C (82°F). A terrarium or a warm, humid spot on a windowsill is usually sufficient to provide the right conditions. Utricularia alpina x endressii can be attached to a piece of bark or keep it in a pot with a mixture of perlite and peat moss. This method ensures that excess water doesn’t linger in the pot, preventing both dehydration and root rot. We offer a suitable mix and other plant care components in Araflrora grow medium section. Watering should be done with rainwater or distilled water to avoid the harmful minerals found in tap water. With the right temperature, humidity, and care, Utricularia alpina x endressii can thrive, making it a great addition to your collection.
