Begonia fischeri can be easily pruned when it becomes too big. The name refers to the 19th century German botanist Von Fischer. This species is originally found in Middle America 'Guatemala'.
Begonia fischeri fits well in a terrarium 'Medium' light and warmth, and high humidity'. As a house plant its soil should be kept slightly moist. It is preferable to give it lukewarm water. Begonia fisheri can grow quite fast and must be pruned to keep some if its shape.
