The Collector Box 'Nepenthes Mix 4x' consists of four different tropical pitcher plant (Nepenthes) species. This Nepenthes plant package is an excellent way to start your collection. The species of this Nepenthes starter package should be put on a bright spot at all times, but away from direct sunlight. Water the plants twice or three times a week, so the soil stays continuously moist. To keep pitchers healthy they have to be filled with liquid. Therefore mist the leaves as frequently as needed to keep this at the right level, around 1/3 of the cup. Make sure to always use demineralized or rain water to prevent a build-up of to many nutrients in the soil and pitchers. These Nepenthes species need a humidity of approximately 75% in order to develop its traps in a proper way. Furthermore, the optimal temperature lays between 20⁰C and 30⁰C and should never drop below 15⁰C or rise above 30⁰C.
