Dischidia minor 'Synonym for Dischidia nummuralia' is found in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia, and grows on various trees 'Most notably tea trees' at the edge of tropical rain forests.
Give Dischidia minor a modest amount of water, once every two or three days is plenty. Let the soil go 'Nearly' dry in between watering sessions. Use a properly porous medium, such as orchid mix. This plant thrives under high humidity. Bright, indirect, filtered light is optimal. When placed in a terrarium, the amount of light should be medium to intense. Under intense light, the the leaves will turn more red. When dry, the leaves will become more succulent 'Harder'.
