Antiniopteris radiata is widespread in Asia and Australia. This rhizome fern grows in all tropical conditions, from dark rain forests to dry cracks between rocks in burning sun, making it ideal as a house or terrarium plant. The leaves are 1.5 to 4.5 cm wide and form a kind of fan with 2 or more forks. The leaves come from a rhizome that stores nutrients such as sugars. Actiniopteris radiata can handle it all, but it looks the best with good care!
Antiniopteris radiata thrives in tropical temperatures, of and a high humidity. This plant is truly at home in many conditions, but prefers indirect sunlight in an airy, nutrient-rich soil. The soil must be allowed to dry slightly between watering.
