Carnivorous plants
Carnivorous plants, or commonly known ‘meat-eating plants’ have an unusual, often breathtaking appearance. Their shape reminds you of bear- claws, glue-sticks, trumpets, but also water urns or cobra’s. Their shape or scent attracts prey, which they kill and digest. Many carnivorous plants are easy to keep indoors or near the pond. Carnivorous plants only require plenty of water, and luckily do not need to be fed.
