Product infoThe Drosera filiformis var Tracyi originates from North America. Its leaves unroll from the core of the plant. Unlike the ordinary filiformis variant, this kind has colourless tentacles. In the winter this type takes a rest period by forming a winter bud of densely rolled leaves. In spring Drosera filiformis again starts producing long leaves.
Plant careThe Drosera filiformis var Tracyi thrives best in a mixture of peat and perlite, and needs to always stay moist. During winter, the plant can be kept in a cool, sheltered place. If the end of the trap leaves start to curl during the growing season, it means that the plant is too wet. Caution! This plant is slightly less winter hardy than the ordinary Drosera filiformis and needs extra protection against frost and wind.
