The Utricularia livida can be cultivated indoors on a window- sill or in a terrarium with artificial light. It does really well in a sunny or partially sunny spot. The temperature is best between 10° and 30° Celsius [ 50° - 86° F ] and may not drop below 4° Celcius [ 39.2° F ]. The Utricularia livida prefers its soil moist. This exotic plant can best be placed on a saucer which is permanently filled with water. The humidity can also be high on the condition that there is enough air flow. The soil of this plant may not contain too many nutrients and should preferably be slightly acid. This carnivorous Araflora plant will also flourish even if it has no insects to catch and digest. Araflora has many different species of utrcularia from small to large plants for sale.
