Plant care

Cyclanthus bipartitus demands a warm and relatively humid environment. Low temperatures are endured but for optimal growth temperature should be above 16 degrees Centigrade. Naturally, this plant grows in understories of humid tropical forests, so shade or partial shade is sufficient. Place this plant in the warmer rooms of the house or in a greenhouse. This plant grows best in organic humus rich soils that is kept always moist. Prevent the root ball from drying out completely but do not make the soil soggy. Apply fertilizer for green plants from spring to autumn according to description.
