Product infoNepenthes x ventrata may grow to a height of up to 2 metres. It can be grown in a hanging basket or a free-standing pot, but in either case the pitchers must have sufficient space. In such conditions, the plant will grow at a normal rate. When it blooms, Nepenthes x ventrata will produce a cluster of yellowish brown flowers.
Plant careNepenthes x ventrata requires a high level of humidity in order to form healthy pitchers. It needs to be kept damp in a well-drained medium using rainwater or distilled water. It likes bright, indirect sun. In the warm, summer months it can be placed outdoors but care must be taken to ensure it has sufficient water. It requires daytime a temperature between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius with cool, humid nights. The temperature should never be lower than 10 degrees Celsius or higher than 30 degrees. It prefers slightly acidic peat as a growing medium and can be pruned if it becomes too large.
