Product infoThe young plant you purchase will grow quickly and become much bigger. If the conditions are right, it will form numerous elegant red pitchers to complement its slender leaves. When it flowers, Nepenthes mirabilis “Thailand red” produces clusters of yellowish brown flowers that can appear all year round.
Plant careAs with other Nepenthes species, Nepenthes mirabilis “Thailand red” requires a great deal of sunlight, but not exposure to direct sunlight or it will dry out. The best temperature to cultivate this species is between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius, certainly no lower than 10 degrees Celsius or higher than 30 degrees. It should be watered regularly with rainwater or distilled water. It also needs spraying regularly with water and to be kept in an environment with a high level of humidity. The best growing medium is neutral to slightly acidic peat. No additional feeding with plant food is required.
