Product info
Nepenthes adnata seldom exceeds 2 metres in height. It does not grow quickly compared to other Nepenthes species, but this is more than compensated by the colour of its pitchers which have purple and green speckles. Nepthenes adnata is a botanical species. If you buy a Nepenthes adnata, you will be helping to preserve a severely threatened species of carnivorous plant.
Plant care
Nepenthes adnata is a lowland or intermediate species. It is best cultivated at temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius, certainly no lower than 10 degrees Celsius or higher than 30 degrees. It requires a high level of humidity in order to form attractive pitchers. Nepenthes adnata should be grown in a well-drained pot and watered with rain water or distilled water. It needs to be sprayed regularly so that water remains in its pitchers. For the best results, it needs plenty of light but it should not be exposed to direct sunlight. The ideal growing medium is neutral to slightly acidic peat. If the plant becomes too big, it can be pruned.
